Selling products is a funny thing. Everyone is pre-programed with different perspectives, depending on what you are selling and how you are selling it.
On November 1st, I teamed up with a new company called Hugh & Grace, that just launched in Canada. This company aligned with me and in this time and space, that means a lot, because there are so many things in the world right now that do not align with me or I don't align with them (however you prefer to look at it).
Ever since closing Local Organics Health Food & Wellness Centre, I have missed sharing my insight with customers. I have missed the open minded conversations that took place between those walls, interacting with individuals who were looking to improve their health, whether through the food they were eating, the supplements they were taking or the spiritial items they were bringing into their home practices. I have missed sharing my life experiences that have provided me with much insight and opportunities to guide others so that they don't need to go through the trenches like I did.
With Hugh & Grace, I see this opportunity emerging again. An opportunity to help, guide and support others on their learning and healing journey. There are a lot of products that I absolutely LOVE from many different suppliers, however Hugh & Grace provides me an opportunity to access multiple categories of amazing products all under one umbrella and they also provide a support system for their customers and advocates and that is important to me.
Now, before you go running off, thinking, oh here we go, Tara is just trying to sell me something! Please give me a moment of your time to explain why.
First off, yes, I am sharing products with you, for you to possibly purchase so that I can make an income. I mean, everyone has to make an income right?
But secondly, I am wanting to share my gifts with you. I want to take my experiences, (that I refer to as my medicine) and support those who are looking to do better in their lives or those who may be struggling right now. Whether that be through supplements, skincare products, spiritual practices or mental health. I want to provide a space that has resources for everyone.
The world is shifting right now, maybe you feel it, maybe you don't (and that's okay if you don't), however I do feel it and I know that it is shifting for the better. And with all shifts, come some uncomfortable moments - that's where the medicine is found. That is where we experience the most growth.
We are all healing right now. Healing physically, emotionally and spiritually. And as we heal, our personal vibration/frequency continues to level up, which brings us more joy, more awareness of who we are and more respect for who others truly are.
What we put in, on and around our bodies matters. It all affects us because we are energetic beings and the environments, people and products that we encounter on a daily basis hold a frequency that affects ours.
There is so much conditioning that has taken place over the years in marketing products and in what is good for us and what is bad for us. And there is so much out there. We don't need every new item on the market...most products we purchase are simply for the quick gratification that lasts only a short while. And yes, I also do that, althought I am becoming more aware of my impulse buys and why I am really buying a certain product.
I have made many changes in my life since my first child was born and Hugh & Grace's products align with a lot of those changes. Their products are clean without chemicals and they use beautiful ingredients that compliment our bodies natural processes, as oppose to altering our bodies natural rhythms, that so many products do that are on the shelves today.
I am using these products as a gift to myself...I haven't always been kind to my body and spirit, but I am really trying to love myself and honour who I truly am. I am gifting myself time to use the skincare products and to be really present when I am applying them. I am taking the supplements to provide my body with the nutrients that it needs to detox and support a somewhat stressful life. And I know we are all there...we all have a lot going on and we have to look after ourselves in ways that feel right.
I would love for any woman feeling called, to join my Wellness Community Group. At the moment, we are creating conversations, sharing knowledge, thoughts and ideas in the group. However, I look forward to in person gatherings and discussions in the near future.
